Great food, big portions, reasonably price.

As words can summarise this place is a hidden treasure. Best spot on high street wleven take away or dine in, you are definitely going to be surprised by the welcoming staff and the authenticity of the food. Fresh homemade dishes, greek drinks and most importantly a warm and friendly staff. Can not recommend enough!

Booked a table for this evening and was warmly welcomed, however, it went downhill from there. We ordered two very simple meals, both bland and tasteless, though the fly in the restaurant thought otherwise so maybe we should've just let the fly tuck in, or maybe the bug in the glass on the table. When the waitress asked if the food was okay after seeing that we had barely touched it, we let her know that unfortunately the food was bland and tasteless, in which she tried to defend the blandness. A second waitress soon came over and asked again, in which we explained the same. And the chips... Cold, soggy, McCains chips. Unfortunately after being truthful about what was wrong with the meal we were met with rude looks and a urgency to pay and leave due to feeling uncomfortable. Beware, do not take disappointed costumers well.

Not sure five stars cut it if I'm honest, doesn't feel adequate enough. From the moment we entered to the minute we left I just felt such a glowing sensation. The young girl who seated us and catered to us throughout was so lovely, the food was immense, I haven't tasted anything quite so authentic outside of the Mediterranean and the authentic atmosphere and decor just topped it all off. The only let down and in no way a bad mark against the business, was the number of rude, jumped up customers that came in whilst we were there. It's bad enough when abroad seeing British arrogance but when we have visitors from abroad who have better manners than the locals, it's just downright embarrassing. They literally cost nothing and you don't even have to mean it, just makes you look a better person. Thank you so much to everyone at Apollonia, I just wish we didn't live so far away.

Great food and very friendly staff. I told them about food allergies on the booking and they had a plan in place when we arrived. Highly recommended.

We are disappointed. We ordered Pork kontosouvli. They told us they don’t have pork but lamb. We accepted. The lamb looks really dark and very dry . No taste. Unfortunately, it costs £ 15,20.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. I tried a lot of different foods and everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had a great meal, the chicken gyros skepasti was very good and same as the one you get in Greece. Excellent desserts too, good portions. Greek beers on the menu, definitely a plus. Staff were friendly and the decor was very welcoming! Thank you, we will visit you again soon!

Went there for tea tonight and was amazed how much food we received and it was the best Greek food that we have eaten in this country .Food was amazing and the staff go up and beyond to help out...lovely authentic people and food well worth a visit and will definitely goback when we are back in the area .And prices were very gd by the standard and amount of food you get xxWe loved this restaurant xx
