Just returned from dining here this evening. Due to the mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect if I’m totally honest. This restaurant is set in an old building bursting with history. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere lovely and the food excellent. My friend and I chose Set Menu B. All dishes were very tasty and the portion sizes were perfect. The prawn toast is like none other I’ve had before, it’s to die for! Our waiter was very attentive and offered quality suggestions from the menu. Overall a very pleasant experience at competitive prices, which I would recommend without a doubt. I look forward to my next visit!

Food was amazing but unfortunately service was one of the worst we've experienced. Waiter didn't know the drinks, we got food fast but then never saw our server again for a hour, we had to get another server to take our food then took over 45mins trying to get our bill. Not a big place and staff numbers were fine for the place think staff were new and untrained, honestly it was so bad.

The prawn pad Thai and banana dessert are wonderful. But I don’t recommend the sizzling duck, small portion and a bit too salty for my taste. Great service and good atmosphere.

This is not Thai food. This is peppers and onions with meat and no flavour. The beef salad is nothing like Thailand. Save your money and try the Tuk Tuk in Fenny Stratford. Will not be ordering again. Can do this at home

Pin-Petch Thai restaurant is a gem! The friendly and smiling staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The food, truly home-cooked Thai cuisine, is bursting with authentic flavors. I tried the som tam salad, homemade Thai fish cake, salt and pepper squid, and mango sticky rice – all delicious! I highly recommend this place for a taste of authentic Thai flavors and warm hospitality.

This was the first time that we visited Pin Petch, and highly recommended. The service was friendly and polite and Tikki, looked after us well. She was attentive and helpful, and helped us decide on our choices. The food was delicious and flavoursome and arrived quickly. Good to see a restaurant that was busy, and what seemed like a lot of returning previous customers. Will go back again and be slightly more adventurous with our selections!

Decided to try this restaurant owing to the high ratings. But what a mistake that was! Overall, a very disappointing experience. The service was mediocre. We asked for a second serving of chilli oil, any Asian restaurant would give you some as default, but here only after it was brought to our table we were told that we will be charged for it, and that only the first serving which consisted of a tiny spoon of chilli oil is free. Baffling. Starters were bland! Golden bags were basically plain chicken and vegetables stuffed in deep fried filo, zero flavour whatsoever. Salt and pepper squid was basically plain deep fried squid, again, zero flavour. The mains were highly disappointing. The fried tofu in the green tofu curry was clearly out of a packet and tasted medicinal. We ordered the vegetarian drunken noodles without egg, but it was served WITH egg, which we then had to send back. The egg fried rice was seriously over cooked, basically mush, and turned into a paste when eaten, which again we had to send back. The drunken noodles were ridiculously spicy and we couldn’t eat more than a couple of bites of it, and we were all Asians dining there with very high spice tolerances. And lastly, the sticky rice was served in a plastic bag… Once our food was served it’s like they forgot us. We sat waiting for someone to attend to us after the mains for a long time. Even getting the bill took ages after we requested it. Terrible experience overall. There are other Thai restaurants in MK which are 10 times better and far more authentic than this one.

Amazing authentic Thai food, have been to Thailand many times this took be back there with all the flavours. The staff were very friendly, attentive and gives the best of Thai hospitality. Great ambience and surroundings, great for families, couples and groups of friends. Truly a Gem in Newport Pagnell highly recommended. Whether it's A La Carte or the Sunday buffet that's cooked fresh to order, you'll definitely be coming back for more.

We came here because it looked like it had a good vegan menu but also a good selection for our meat-eating friends, and not only did it not disappoint, but it surpassed our expectations and delighted us! I'm also gluten intolerant and am used to not having much choice or just being given the food allergies guide to read so it was brilliant when the server knew every dish perfectly and could recommend several options for me. Everything we ate was delicious, the service was spot-on, the menu was varied and all 4 of us loved everything we ordered. The toilets were clean and well cared for, the drinks selection was great (although we were just drinking cokes) and the place had a lovely atmosphere. We left after 2 courses because we had booked an escape room but after we were done there we came back to Pin Petch to have dessert! The vegan dessert selection is small but varied and as gf I could even have 2 of the 3 on offer. One of our non-vegan friends had a vegan dessert because it sounded nice too, and it was (I had some of hers too). So all in all, we loved this place and will come back again. We're don't live in Newport Pagnell but that won't stop us driving 30 minutes to get here again next time we fancy Thai.
