I owe Kevin and Tom an apology for taking so long to get round to this review. They fitted a stove for me to my quite exacting requirements, knocking through a space on the other side of an existing fireplace, closing off the existing fireplace while keeping the look of an open fireplace, and fitting the new stove including a marble front hearth fitted into and level with a suspended wooden floor. This was not an easy or standard piece of work. They did an absolutely fantastic job to very tight tolerances. It looks stunning and works a treat. Highly recommended!

We have just had our stove fitted by Kevin, absolutely fantastic service. Really informative, friendly and did a great job at tidying up afterwards even though our chimney had the most amount of dust he had ever seen 😁. Really pleased and to top it all his quote was the cheapest too! We will be recommending to all of our family and friends.

We had a wood burning stove installed by Kevin earlier this year. He came round to give us a quote soon after we first contacted him and it was much cheaper than other quotes we'd received. We needed a reasonable amount of work done & we had a few complications along the way - blocked chimney, electrified fireplace, pipes rerouted - none of which were hearth & home's fault and all of which were sorted out really quickly and efficiently. The stove has made a huge difference to our living room. It looks great and gives out great heat. We've got no hesitations in recommending Hearth and Home chimneys. All in all, a great service at a very reasonable price!

excellent service from start to finish, lots of advise given and was the most competitive in the area after numerous quotes, the building work and log burner completed in good time with minimal disruption. Kevin also called me after to check we were happy and they everything was working well. Would and already have recommended to others.

Kevin and his builder Tom came and did a re-install of a log burner and surround. The job had originally been done by a completely unqualified contractor who did an appalling job (even though he claimed he was HETAS registered). Kevin and Tom have restored my faith in good quality trades people. They have done a FANTASTIC job. They were both caring, took time to make sure the job was done correctly and took pride in the work they did, always ensuring that I was happy too. If you need a chimney sweep or a fire installed, call Kevin and his team, they will do an excellent job for you and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

What an excellent job. I was recommended Hearth and Home Chimneys by a friend and so pleased I used them. From start to finish, Kevin was professional and polite. GREAT SERVICE FROM A LOCAL COMPANY!! My wife and i were after a stove to be installed and some inspiration. We had two quotes from other local companies, ( one of which charged us £45 to come out) But luckily Kevin swept our chimney and informed us that he fitted stoves. Kevin offered us some advice what Kw output we needed for the for the size of the the room, ventilation requirements, and styles. Kevin also offered us advice on whether we wanted it more as a decorative feature or to try and heat the house, which no one one else asked us. In the end we went for a Stovax Stockton 5. Kevin also supplied and installed a black granite hearth. We are really pleased with the job and has been a great asset to us over the past few weeks, being so cold. Kevin's quote came in £363 cheaper than the most cheapest quote, he took no deposit from us. On completion he said he would forward and invoice. We received an courtesy call 3 days later asking if we were happy before he sent us an invoice. Absolute A1 service thank you!!

Kevin first swept our two chimneys, he did a fantastic job and nothing was too much trouble, his work was fast and clean. Kevin then on a further occasion lined one of our chimneys, his work is outstanding and we would highly recommend him and his team to anyone.
