Unfortunately my mother-in-law passed away in October and after being let down by a number of other clearance companies that i had contacted, I found A1 House Clearance on Google and gave them a phone call. I explained there was a huge amount of things to clear and sent over some photos as requested. I was worried that they would not be able to do the job but Mike and Martin were absolutely amazing!!!!! It took 7 van loads, and they worked around our schedule to clear the house and the garden. They worked so professionally and quickly, they were friendly, chatty, and really compassionate and even though we were clearing the house and most of it was going to the tip, they treated everything with respect. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them and I would highly recommend them if you need a house or garden clearing.

After my dad died I needed to get his lockup garage and shed cleared. I contacted Mike and explained that my mum might be a bit sensitive watching all dad's stuff being removed, Mike understood the point I was making and promised to take that into account. We agreed a basic price which depended on the amount that they ended up taking away and a date & time that the job would take place. After the job was completed my mum told me that Mike had been on time and was polite, friendly and courteous throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending Mike and A1 House Clearances.

Mike was excellent in coming round to give a quote and then arranged to do the job. He came and did the removal of furniture as arranged. I am very pleased with the job that he did and would highly recommend him.

I can highly recommend A1 House Clearance, they worked very hard and efficiently to remove many items from the house, to clear (a very full) garage and remove unwanted items from the garden. They were professional and knowledgeable. It was also reassuring that books were going to be taken to charity and many items and materials would be recycled as much as possible.
